Veterinarian
Dr. Emily cornwel joined the Muddy Branch Veterinary Center team in 2016. She studied biology and Spanish at Kalamazoo College, was a Fulbright Scholar in Australia for a year, then studied at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine where she received her PhD in 2012 and her DVM in 2015. Dr. Cornwell's veterinary interests include preventative care, internal medicine, and surgery. She especially enjoys the opportunity to help her patients stay healthy and to get to know her patients and their families. Dr. Cornwell lives in Germantown with her partner and their daughter. In her spare time, Dr. Cornwell enjoys cooking, reading, and outdoor activites such as running, hiking, and gardening.
Dr. Cornwell joined the FDA Center for Veterinary Medicine in 2020 and she is very excited to still be able to see the amazing patients of MBVC one Saturday a month!
